Yesterday I let the guys out for a romp in the pasture, and they seem to love the powder as much as any skier. First out were Doc and Mia; Doc came across the carcass of a Pheasant that had been eaten by a hawk or owl. As with Mia, Doc seems to be a natural retriever as he brought me what was left of the bird in pieces and parts. Sophie and Elvis were next out, followed by Elettra and Dakota. Today was spent cooking ducks rather than hunting.
Elvis and Sophie check out the remains of a Pheasant that was eaten by a hawk or owl. Doc found the carcass and retrieved the pieces.
Doc watches Mia, who is down in the ditch hunting.
